I wanted to compare with last year, when I said ‘I suspect my average word count would get even lower’, which it did, but I’m pleased by the rise in fics posted, word count, kudos and bookmarks, even if much of that is driven by AO3 getting more popular. ‘Comprehension’ is still my most popular fic; I wonder if I’ll ever produce anything longer than ‘Harsh Lights’.
