Two pieces of TV news
So, Brendan has been dropped from this year’s Strictly. Now, I didn’t watch Strictly from the very beginning, but I was tired of his inevitably quarrelling with the judges for ‘this one’ so I’m not particularly bothered. The churlish part of me thinks they picked Shirley’s side, the kinder part thinks that winning the Christmas special was a nice out. We await to see who the new male pro is.
There is absolutely no link between the above and what’s next other than that it was when I was looking for a link for the Strictly story that I saw the grimmer news that Mark Salling, who played Puck on Glee, and had recently pleaded guilty to child pornography charges, had committed suicide. It’s altogether depressing - what he admitted to doing and that he took his own life.
