Orphan Black - 2.4 Governed as it were by chance

Oh, the truck was Cal. Should have thought of that, Occam’s Razor and all (to be honest, I haven’t speculated much about the show since watching the last episode, just recovered slightly.) He does have a right to know what’s going on, what with his sheriff friend being killed and Kira, BUT I want to know more about his military connections/history and decent survival skills. I do hope (for their sake) that Sarah can trust him with their daughter.

Allison’s stint in rehab was amusing, shot through with the jet black of Donnie using the kids (though I still think they could develop Allison and her kids more) against her, and all the reasons she’s been self-medicating.

I think doing science stuff would have done Cosima more good than watching someone with her face die of something she’s sick from too. But at least she got to investigating the Duncans, even if the more we know of Rachel, the more mysterious she is.

For a second, I thought the men’s clothes in Rachel’s wardrobe were Paul’s, not the creepy guy.

What I got wrong about Helena was that I thought that the creepy farmer-scientist had raped her, then artificially inseminated her, again, while she was out of it and without her consent, but it turned out that no, it was something equally gross and tragic. (Who will get to be the surrogate mother? Grace for the maximum drama.) Tragic and scary about covers Helena. Grace was never going to be capable of killing her. While I can understand why they’ve kept Helena around, they’re going to have to watch for diminishing effects at some point, because she’s pretty indestructible. So is Sarah, but her injuries haven’t been so grave.

What a ‘guardian angel’ to save Sarah (who I’m going to assume is pregnant again until notified otherwise). How long before she has to uncoil herself, get up and carry on surviving? Rachel’s flying back soon.

I did suss it was Helena at Mrs S’s.

Oh Siobhan, what do you think is big and manky enough to hide from Sarah at this point, SERIOUSLY? It’s not quite what I thought it was. Mysteries upon mysteries, which is partly why there’s not much point in speculating too hard.
