I'm going to spend all day confused about the date,
First, another new icon (and I have two more spaces left): a darker Tara icon by roonblah. Isn't it pretty?
A proper catch up, involving replies, is going to have to wait, yet again, for self-expression. I'm BAAACK. I see that that a lot of people have done a meme looking back at the writing they've done over the past year, and while a part of me thinks it would be interesting to have such an overlook, there's a lazy part of me that means i'm not likely to go there. Though I know I've written a lot of little bits in fandoms that I never expected to.
I don't have writing resolutions as such - to write more that is longer, but I've had that as a goal over the winder (and 'Trail' and 'Retrieval' counted. Yes, my definition of long is past 2,000 words, though even longer would be grand. (5,000?)
THe other, well, not resolution, but realisation was that with X3 coming out, there's going to be new X-Men canon. I need to get my skates on, I have some X-men gen (I want to write W/R, but gen's been more fruitful) to look at and work on. I've also got a whole pile of Wolverine/Rogue recs to read - I've read hardly anything after X2, even stuff from writers that I've really liked. So instead of spending time wishing heartily that people would write more for my rarepairs, I'll probably be turning to the wealth of W/R fic, at some point this year. Of course, with W/R being angst central, I'll be fervently wishing for fluff to be written about my rareparis :) Such is life.
Watched Numb3rs last night, missed the episode before. I really want an explanation for the mysterious disappearance of Sabrina Lloyd/Teri. The show really needs her - there was no pretence at gender balance, really. Eh, I'd go into more detail but it'd mean finding out the ep title and lj-cutting and I haven't the time.
In preparation for next week's two-part season 1 finale, Lost pretended it was an ensemble show.
ER is one E4 tonight (yay!) and The O.C. is coming back 'in a couple of weeks' according to Radio 1 yesterday (I stopped my ears from any more spoilers). And Desperate Housewives is also returning. I'm more excited about the first two, and Life on MArs and Supernatural. And I'll stop blithering now.
