Ted Cruz and the Dildo-Pusher Law

Mother Jones has an article about Ted Cruz, when he was Texas Solicitor General, defending the Dildo-Pusher Law, which criminalized the sale of sex toys, a cause he ultimately lost.  While the article, um, comes with a wonderful, though actually probably unrelated photo (posted below), the New York Daily News, in covering the Mother Jones piece, um, whips out every pun it can find.  The money quote, though, is at the end of the article, when the News repeats a tweet from Cruz's college roommate, who very clearly hates him (unsurprisingly to everyone):  "Ted Cruz thinks people don’t have a right to ‘stimulate their genitals.’ I was his college roommate. This would be a new belief of his.”

There is not enough brain bleach in the world sufficient to scrub out the image of Wankin' Ted Cruz.
