Continuation of Scenario #001. :3
Scenario #001: Kim Jaejoong had spent most of his life carefully making sure that he was never cheated on that he was never prepared for the possibly of being cheated with.
(Continued from
Part A)
“Excuse me sir, are you okay?”
Jaejoong blinked, and for a moment he forgot where he was. When he looked around, he remembered that he was at the Bobbi Brown store. The dark-haired man turned to see an employee looking worriedly at him.
He cleared his throat and smiled. “U-Uh, yes. I’m fine. I was just, well, thinking.”
“Oh, I see.” The woman gave him a small smile. “It’s just that you’ve been holding those two bottles of foundation for quite a while, and you just suddenly started staring off into space.”
He blinked again and looked at his hands. True enough, he was holding two bottles of foundation. Two of the same color, except one was more suited for dry skin, and the other for oily or combination skin. He laughed and put them in the basket he hooked on his arm, sidestepping the employee.
“Hah, hah, I was just wondering which one to get. Sorry, I’ll just-“ He pointed at the part of the store with the eye shadows. “I’ll just head over there and. Yeah.”
Jaejoong headed over to the eye shadows, unaware of the confused stare he was receiving from the woman. He let out a sigh when the colorful wall of eye shadows stood in front of him, and he made a show of browsing the colors when what he really did was think.
Yunho was cheating on him. Well, with him. On his wife.
The makeup artist let out a sad sniffle.
After Jaejoong told Junsu about seeing the wedding ring (and sobbed like no tomorrow), the two of them went to a nearby cafe and talked more about it. Jaejoong realized that the more he thought and talked about the topic, the more freaked out and depressed about it he got. Which was strange, because when he saw it the first time, all he felt was... hollow.
(“It must have been the shock, hyung.” Junsu said before taking a sip from his tea. “You couldn’t have reacted in front of Yunho, so maybe your brain ignored it until you can really think about it. Like now.”
Jaejoong sighed and just took another bite of his pasta. Sometimes his hairdresser friend said things that sounded so strange they actually made sense.)
But coming home after that, he felt like a dam inside his heart crumbled under the pressure of an emotional storm and let in a tsunami of hurt, betrayal and pain. He thought about Yunho, his handsome face and his smile and how he could be a total sweetheart to Jaejoong and at the same time do the same for someone else.
(Realizing that made him go to the nearest supermarket to buy two tubs of Rocky Road ice cream, and he made gross sobbing sounds as he devoured it all. He must have made such a commotion that his normally indifferent cat, Jiji, came to see what the fuss was all about.
“Oh, Jiji!” He despaired, reaching for the Russian Blue as it was preparing to run away from an impending sob-cuddle fest. “Why am I doomed to live such a life full of lying assholes?!”
The Russian Blue just meowed, and it sounded almost like he was trying to say “gimme a break.”)
And now, a few days later, Jaejoong was at the mall replenishing his equipment and makeup. Only, even though he had been in the mall for over two hours already, he hadn’t even finished shopping at the first store he went to. Because all he could think about was Yunho and his... his... his-
(He started sobbing inside the store, and because the store staff thought he was crying about the products he was given a special discount on everything. That made him stop crying. For a bit.)
He sniffled as he carried his shopping bags and exited the NARS store, having just made a purchase there. He peeked inside the black paper bag and simply stared at the products inside. And the reason for that was he realized that, somehow, looking at them numbed the throbbing pain in his chest.
(He had a feeling that if Junsu were here, he’d be saying things like, “Oh my God, hyung, with all that drama you should’ve taken theater instead of going to cosmetology school!!”)
But that numbing was, sadly, only temporary. It still hurt thinking about his Yunho-yah cheating on his wife with him. And the saddest part was he didn’t know what to do about it, now that he knew.
‘Should I tell him that I know? Or should I wait for his wife to catch him in the act?’ He thought as he idly walked around the mall, ignoring kiosk vendors calling out to him to try out their wares. If he confronted Yunho about it, they would most definitely be over if he was indeed using him to cheat on his wife. If he waited for the wife to find out though, he wasn’t sure whether the wife would beat up Yunho or him. Or both of them.
This was such a huge dilemma.
He had just sat down on a bench when he felt something vibrating in his pants. It confused him, at first, because wow, what was that? Then he realized it was the phone in his pocket, and he fished it out. He looked at the caller ID and almost let out a sob.
My Lovely Yunho ♥
Oh God, he wasn’t ready to talk to him yet.
‘What should I do?’ He stared at the phone as it buzzed and vibrated in his hand. The bar with Yunho’s name turned red, notifying that the call had been ended. When the phone started buzzing again, Jaejoong realized that Yunho was probably gonna call until he answered.
He took a deep breath, lifted his finger and used it to swipe the “accept call” function. He put the phone near his ear and said, “Hello.”
“Joongie, I thought you weren’t going to answer!” Came Yunho’s relieved voice. Jaejoong couldn’t help it; he sniffled. “Hm? What’s wrong? Are you sick?”
‘Sick of lying assholes.’ He thought. Jaejoong shook his head and said, “No, Yunho-yah, I’m not sick. I’m just at the mall. Shopping for makeup supplies.”
“Oh, I see. But you sound really down, boo, are you okay?”
No, no, he wasn’t okay. Jaejoong seriously wanted to shout at the phone and make a scene, yelling obscenities at Yunho for lying to him and using him to cheat on his poor wife. But at the same time, he wanted to beg Yunho to say that he loved him, and that he would choose him over his wife. He felt his eyes stinging, and he rubbed them and sniffled again.
“Jae? What’s wrong? Are you-Are you crying?”
“N-No,” He said, but it didn’t really help because his voice was shaking. Why was his voice shaking?! “I’m just-No, I’m not crying, Yunho-yah-“
“But you are! What’s going on, babe? Are you-oh.” Yunho suddenly stopped talking, and then all of a sudden Jaejoong heard his low chuckle ringing in his ear. “I get it. Do you miss me, Joongie? Is that it?”
Jaejoong looked at the phone, incredulous. His wide eyes blinked at the device before bringing it back close to his ear. “Excuse me?”
“Aww, don’t pretend, boo! You miss your Yunho-yah, don’t you? Awww~” A coo and a laugh followed, and Jaejoong just stared at the ground, speechless. “You’re sad because your Yunyun’s ignoring you, right? Yunyun’s sorry, his schedule had been so tight lately so he’s not paying attention to his Joongie. Yunyun bad.”
Jaejoong shook his head. “Yunho-yah, what-“
“But I’ll make it up to you, sweetheart! I actually called because I wanted to tell you that I’m free for the next two weeks. So I can spend time with my BooJae at last!”
At any other time, Jaejoong would have been happy. But given the circumstances, his heart just couldn’t take it. “Yunho-yah, I don’t think-“
“You said you’re at the mall right now, right? Which one? Oh-you’re buying makeup. So you’re probably at the Shinsegae at Gangnam, right?”
“Uh-“
“Great! I’ll meet you there. Let’s have dinner and watch a movie. Then let’s spend the night together, heh, heh, heh.”
“W-Wait, Yunho-yah-“
“I’ll call you when I arrive. Can’t wait to see you, boo!” Yunho made kissy sounds on the other line. “I love you!”
A monotonous dial tone replaced his boyfriend’s voice, and Jaejoong let his hand drop to his lap. He blinked and smacked the side of his head, just wondering what the hell happened.
Oh, that’s right. His two-timing, cheating-on-his-wife-with-him boyfriend just wanted to spend the night with him. Him, and not his own wife.
He hugged his shopping bags to his chest, and hoped that would be enough to numb the pain before Yunho arrived.
Yey for continuations and slightly more free time. But I would be lying if I said I wasn't procrastinating on other things o.o Eep. Anyways, I hope you liked this continuation! XD
Some of you seem to be confused about what these scenarios actually are. These are just ideas that I think of at the top of my head or are inspired by something I see, hear or even dream about (strange, I know). I dunno if these scenarios will be developed into actual chaptered fics with better plot in the future, but we'll see. These are just to entertain you with what goes on in my mind every now and then. If you've been following me for some time, you may be familiar with me saying that I relate YunJae to everything in my life. Well. I wasn't joking :P (I lead a sad, lonely life of a fangirl don't judge me HAHAHAHAHA)
Maybe at the end of this whole thing I'll set up a poll on what story you want to be developed. How does that sound? =))) More pressure for me but I love writing stuff like this so why the heck not XD
Lol, long note. Haha, again, I hope you enjoyed this. Werewolf will probably be next. Or a new scenario about werewolves, too. Or vampires. Idk, I'm thinking of too much things :(((
