[ V E R S E ] YunJae Scenarios #004

Aug 16, 2014 01:07

I finally got around to typing something for coordinator hyung!Jaejoong! :D I honestly still don't know how to start with that plot but for now this is how I'm starting it XD I can just develop a better plot for it later, anyways. :P

Scenario #004: Instead of becoming an idol like he first wanted, Kim Jaejoong becomes the coordinator “hyung” for the country’s most popular boy band, Dong Bang Shin Ki. All hell breaks loose when he now has to deal with an emotional grease ball, a squeaky boy on aegyo overload, a snarky kid with a vacuum for a stomach and a conceited douche who kept asking for his number. Great.

Kim Jaejoong blinked once. Then twice. He did it another twenty or so times just for good measure because really, what he heard from the president’s mouth was something he was not expecting. Like, ever. The older man was smiling at him, yes, but he didn’t seem to be joking or anything like that. The coordinator looked around him-candid camera?-and even waited for a few seconds before finally asking:

“Excuse me sajangnim, but you want me to do what?”

The company president’s smile widened. “You heard me, Kim Jaejoong-ssi. It’s exactly what I said!”

“But, but, but-“ The dark-haired man blabbed, mouth gaping and eyes moving in all directions. “But that’s just-whaaaat?” He made a stupid face at the man sitting in front of him, ignoring the fact that he was his boss and employer because that’s how hilariously befuddled he was.

But one must be wondering: what made Kim Jaejoong, one of S.M. Entertainment’s fashion coordinators, so flustered and confused?

Well, it was because of what happened yesterday: he had been notified late last night by one of the S.M. Entertainment’s employees that the president wanted to discuss something important with him the next morning.

The coordinator didn’t know exactly what time “the next morning” meant, so he woke up as early as five in the morning and arrived at the building way before the company was even opened. He had been a nervous wreck the entire wait because various paranoid thoughts filled his mind.

Was he in trouble? Did he mess up on one of BoA’s outfits at the shoot they had a few days ago? Maybe he forgot to put the clothes back in their proper rack like he was trained to do? Or was it possible that he was actually so good-looking that everyone he ended up working with gets distracted from doing their job well so they had to get rid of him?

The more time he spent thinking about things, the more ridiculous his thoughts became.

When the staff in charge of opening the company doors arrived, he practically ran inside and went straight to the president’s office. He had waited for another hour before the man even arrived. After an awkward morning greeting and bow (“G-Good morning, Lee Sooman-sajang, how ar-oh shit, I’ll replace that lamp I swear-“), and a brief exchange of good-natured pleasantries later (“Oh yes, sajangnim! I’ve been sleeping better these past few days; I can actually sleep a good four hours every day instead of three like last year!”), Lee Sooman discussed with him that “something important” that kept Jaejoong from sleeping last night.

And that’s what made Kim Jaejoong all wide-eyed and gaping, completely forgetting that he was right in front of the boss of his boss’s boss’s boss’s boss. Fortunately for him, the company president didn’t seem to mind. Or care.

“But, but-“ He sputtered again, feeling helpless and so emotionally conflicted. “But why?”

“You’re not getting out of this one, Kim Jaejoong. The decision is final.” The man replied, unfazed at the weird expression Jaejoong was currently making at him. “From now on, you’ll be the main coordinator of our very own Dong Bang Shin Ki. Congratulations!”

The dark-haired coordinator kept so still that anyone could mistake him for a hyper-realistic statue. Even as Lee Sooman explained the details that were conveniently also kept in a folder that was eventually given to him, Jaejoong was as motionless as a car stuck in a three-hour traffic. Lee Sooman and his secretary waved at him as he walked out of the office like a zombie, folder in his hands and a strange, slightly disturbing facial expression plastered on his face.

It wasn’t until he reached the lobby when he knelt to the floor and promptly fainted.

“I don’t understand!” Jaejoong despaired, hands running through his hair as he paced back and forth in Kwon Boa’s apartment. The woman just watched him as he emphatically reacted about his current situation. “What did I do to deserve this?!”

Boa looked at him, bored, before shrugging and saying, “Maybe you did something that pissed someone off. Someone important. And influential.”

“But who? When? HOW?” He crawled towards Kwon Boa and grasped her shoulders before shaking her vigorously. “TELL MEE-“

“Aish, let go of me, crazy!” Boa shoved Jaejoong away from him, making him land on his back on the floor in front of him. He froze for a moment before suddenly sobbing like his lover had just left him for someone richer, prettier and just generally better than him in every way.

That was probably too specific.

Boa watched the sight for a few moments before sighing. She knelt beside him and started caressing his hair in calming, comforting strokes. “There, there, Jaejoongie. It’s going to be okay-“

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT’S GOING TO BE OKAY?” Jaejoong suddenly sat up and screeched, taking the famous solo artist aback. “ARE YOU SAYING THAT YOU DON’T WANT ME TO BE YOUR COORDINATOR ANYMORE? KWON BOA, YOU TRAITOR! I SHOULD’VE MESSED UP YOUR SHOOT AND MADE YOU LOOK LIKE A GUAVA-“

“SHUT UP, YOU MISERABLE FASHIONISTA WANNABE!” Boa shoved him back down on the floor, causing him to sob uncontrollably again. She ran her hand through her hair and let out a frustrated sigh. “It’s not like I’m not bothered, okay? I’m actually really upset because you’re the best coordinator an idol could ever ask for. But what can we do, Joongie-ah? What sajangnim says, goes.”

“But, but, but-“ Jaejoong started to say as he sat up, but then he couldn’t find the right words to say. He covered his face with his hands and started bawling again. “I don’t want to be reassigned! I want to be your coordinator foreveeeerrr!”

At this point, Jaejoong had thrown his hands up in the air and embraced Kwon Boa. She embraced him back and rubbed his back in soothing circles.

“Aww come on, Jaejoongie, it’s not that bad? Just because we’re not going to be together as much anymore-“ She flinched when Jaejoong cried just a tad bit harder at that. “-it doesn’t mean we still can’t see each other! We’ll still be lunch and shopping buddies! And oh, we still have Twitter, right?”

“It’s not the saaaame!”

“Y-Yeah, but honestly, you should be happy about this opportunity! Dong Bang Shin Ki is a rising star in the idol community! They’re the best boy band out there right now! Why wouldn’t you want to be their coordinator?”

Jaejoong stiffened, and like a volcano about to erupt, he shook in Boa’s arms before shoving her away and heading out the door.

“BECAUSE I HATE DONG BANG SHIN KI!!”

Oooooh, coordinator!Joong hates DBSK :)) But whyyy? XD Anyway, I would have started this verse in a different way (with hints of YunJae in it already) but since I'm really planning to continue this, I decided to start it this way :) I hope you all like it! And I'm just so happy that I managed to pass the fucking exam that I posted a new verse even though I just posted yesterday lols. I'll also update N3RDY soon~
