My Understanding etc
Fuck Raplh Reed. Good riddance to him. I hope he disappears from politics forever. I also hope that this is because God strikes him down and kills him. But that is beside the point. I'm tired. Pantothenic acid. Pantha. Birds birds birds. Ghaaa! (it's supposed to look like a squak but I couldn't think of a good way to onomatopoeize it). There need to be slightly more hours in a day. You know what's great? Butts, butts are great. I'll say it I don't care. I'm really approaching crazy levels. New comics today. Also test. Smiles and frowns. And smiles. Are we really on the verge of war? I think so. I'm in the minority on this. By we I should point out I don't mean America (that would be disasterous). I mean the world. War doesn't even really cover it. To put it differently the world has moved on. Israel is fighting a war against hezbollah in Southern Lebannon. Hamas tries to hide behind the fact that they are the elected government of Palestinion arabs. Meanwhile funding for Hezbollah comes from Syria and Iran, who is developing their own weopons of mass destruction program (we're lucky that Musharraf is still holding on in Pakistan, incidentally, I don't want to think about a theocracy with access to nuclear weapons and deployment methods for them. Speaking of the old WMD's, the Illinist world crazy also is working on some of his own, with missles that can deploy almost anywhere within his own region, and possibly as far as west coast U.S. (luckily, that particular test missle failed). Meanwhile, antisemites in Europe including the French and Russians condemn Israel for responding to attacks from organizations that wish to destroy it and kill it's people. Russia, meanwhile, is slowly turning into a fascist state where rule of law and liberty tend to be more rhetoric than practiced. This is all known, Ah discordia. There was no reason to rant it. My point is. My stupid point is maybe Huntington was right. Vaguely. Clash of Civilizations. Groups with completely incompatable thought processes and beleifs about the world. No great one worlder Clinton dream of a common culture and economy created by massive trade leading to peace but only endless regionalism and racial/religious/ nationalistic wars. The constant twin spectres of terrorism and imperialism. I shouldn't talk politics. I get boring and I get things wrong. I'm no better informed than anyone and I'm less informed than the people who are into it. I should talk about happy things. Games make me happy and that is the truth. Comic books make me happy and that is the truth. Heather makes me very happy and that is the truth. This a terrible entry. Time to go.
