Fiction: Phone Call Part 2

if you’re okay when I’m around…” “Calling You” -Blue Oyster
“I’ve been waiting for your call, Jack.” Samantha smiled. “Most of the security is gone, now that everyone is looking for Donald Lucas.”
Jack chuckled. “He was such a wonderful fool to find.”
Samantha had remembered about this kid who went to Sunday school with her. He had come up to her one day and said ‘Jesus loves you, and I do, too.’ Lucas had been that kid. Shortly after, Samantha had stopped lying to herself and decided she loved Jack, she had thought of using Lucas as the perfect diversion.
Jack had been lucky that the idea had turned out so well. Lucas was a mindless twit, who had easily turned himself into whatever Jack told him. For fun, Jack had even made Lucas kill some people in imitation of another serial killer the FBI was tracking. He had told the idiot it was part of his training.
Samantha giggled. “All plan is working so well.”
“I know, darling. I will be over soon.”
Fifteen minutes later, Samantha pulled Jack into a deep kiss as soon as he got off the elevator
