Severus had spent much of the night making supplement potions for Faolan, and checking in on Remus and the boy. They'd both been awake at one point, but when he checked again, they were both sound asleep. Around three in the morning, he'd finally fallen into bed, exhausted.
Hours later, when he heard Faolan beginning to stir, he pulled himself from sleep, seeing the Remus was already up and kneeling by the boy's cot. Severus watched, unsure of what to do, not wanting to scare the boy, he sat up in bed, watching for the moment, waiting for Remus to tell him what to do.
