Snape paced outside the door of the room Remus entered, knowing the sun had to be rising by now. Why the hell hadn't he returned? He was very close to opening the door and going after him, when the door opened. Remus was leaning heavily on Black, and Severus hurried to support his other side. After a quick consultation with Black, they managed to get Remus home, and into bed. When they were alone, he sat beside him, brushing the hair back from his face.
"What can I do?" he asked, feeling helpless. Remus looked even worse than when he'd entered the room.
