Do you want, do you want, do you want, do you want to dance with me, baby?

I had what was ultimately a lovely weekend, though I spent a good portion of Saturday angsting, but it's all better now. In fact, it's fantastically better. It's wonderfully better. Because I enjoy being a girl. And stuff.

I spent Halloween at home with one who will join my zombie army when the time comes for me to eat only delectable brains and we would get loud with our stories and laughter and someone would knock on the door for trick or treats, so we'd get really quiet until we were sure they went away. Made me think of the Gestapo. Or freshman year of college.

Saturday, I walked in the park, I cleaned, I baked, and generally tried to keep as busy as possible, which failed miserably and I was left to call others for entertainment. And entertaining it was! Good company, with one toting the "Don't Die Kit" (and she shared! So kind to one with the sinus infection that will not DIE!) and one host bearing ice cream and discounted halloween candy (PS: Peanut butter cups make for delicious breakfast). Milkshakes and Pushing Daisies ensued and it's true, I'm a happy convert to the show. (C'mon... anything that makes me go "AWWWW" with any form of sincerity is pretty awesome).

Sunday, I hung out at the farmer's market, then with the lovely and patient Ms. Anne who allowed me more Pushing Daisies (the first couple are always free). I then went to Moshe's and made pizza with him and his friends, and played old school Nintendo (Mike Tyson game... anyone?) When the conversation started drifting toward Meyers-Briggs and I revealed that I had last been dumped by someone because he had scored introvert and I got extrovert, I decided I needed to go somewhere else. I caught up with Paul and we watched "Dance of the Dead" and drank hot toddies as we huddled with people I didn't know, and Paul only knew a couple. PS: If you ever get the chance to watch "Dance of the Dead", I highly recommend it. HILARIOUS prombie-esque movie. By the time I got home, it was early morning, and I was giddy on good company, Joni Mitchell, and hilarious shenanigans. Harumphs of approval all around, I say!

Anyway... that was my weekend. Squee... :)
