This has turned into one of those weeks that drives me absolutely insane.  I'm not sure what got into the students this week, but every class has been either extraordinarily difficult or extraordinarily boring.  Also, for some bizarre reason, I assigned not one, not two, but THREE classes to all turn in essays yesterday.  I cannot imagine how

God love, I was worried about you! I was about to storm the gates of Hogwarts if I didn't hear from you soon. I'm glad you're alright and it's just work that kept you. Remind me to spank you later for making me worry.

The week has been alright so far. Work has been slow, which has left me with too much free time on my hands. I think if I try and dust anything else, Charlotte is going to hex me, but I can't seem to just sit still. Not sure what is making me so edgy, but it's driving me nuts. I'm going to go for a run after work to try and work some of it off. Maybe I'll actually be able to sleep tonight.

So were the essays all on the completely different topics, or all the same thing?

I'm sorry, love- I was so distracted today, and after class I just went into my office and started grading things again. I didn't even glance up at the clock until it was almost 5, and I figured you would have sorted out by then that I wasn't coming. I am sorry that you were worried, though.

But now I'm worried that you're not sleeping- you have been trying to sleep in our bed, right? Not on the sofa again?

The essays were all completely different, I'm afraid- all of the first years had reports on Jupiter's moons, all of the fourth years on planetary orbits, and the seventh year class had a minimum of 4 feet on varying spectral classes. I guess I was a bit distracted when I set the turn-in dates- I usually don't let myself have all of this on one day! Any idea when you will get up here and come visit me? Friday afternoon is feeling very far away.

It's alright love, like I said, I'm glad you're alright. That's all that matters.

I'll just admit outright that I don't have a clue what spectral classes are. I couldn't name one, let alone 'varied'. I work in a bookshop, you'd think I'd crack a book on occasion. *grin*

I tried sleeping in the bed, but I just ended up staring at the walls. I didn't mean to fall asleep on the couch, that just happens to be where I finally dozed off. I always start out in bed, I just can't seem to stay there. I'll run tonight, it should help.

You know I'll come see you whenever you want, all you have to do is say the word.

Spectral classes are, basically, a classification system for stars based on temperature and chemical makeup- but as you aren't taking a NEWT in Astronomy this year, it's nothing you need to worry about. Though perhaps I should bring home one of my NEWT-level textbooks for you to read before you go to sleep- they are terribly boring, which is not so much fun for the students, but perhaps they could help you sleep.

I miss you too, and I'd love to be able just to say 'come up whenever you can', but I'm afraid that wouldn't be very professional or responsible of me, now would it? But if you were here already, it would be rude for you to not stop by and see me.

You did go to your appointment on Friday, didn't you? You were late coming home, but you haven't said a word about it, love...

Oh, or even better, can I just have one of those connect the dot books that end up being a constellation? Hmm I was about to say something inappropriate involving my freckles and your tongue. Not productive to learning. Damn.

Connect-the-dots, hmm? I never did try to look for patterns in your freckles- perhaps that's something we can do this weekend, after you tell me about your appointment.

I will be so happy when it is finally Friday afternoon. I may just get in the tub as soon as I get home and wait for you to pull me out- it might take that long just to wash away the stress of this week.

Oh that was just mean. How do you expect me sleep now when all I can think about is you in the tub? All naked and wet and naked. Alright, I'll be taking a very long run tonight, followed by a very cold shower. Or, a cold shower now, followed by a run and perhaps another cold shower when I return.

Cruel, cruel woman. Don't blame me if you get molested again the moment I walk in the door. You'll have no one but yourself to blame.
