Wed. is battle time. Two AP exams for me to do battle with, one after the other.
Im actually pretty mellow bout all of it. I mean w/e happens will happen and i shouldnt be the typical worry-wort i usually am.
Friday i missed maria badly, but not unhealthily. I heard once that just a lil bit of time apart makes the times when u r together that much richer. OK i guess i agree with this mentality a bit but it can get nerve-racking sometimes. Nerve-racking in a good way, a guy should never get obsessed - which is unhealthy- but should take w/e happens in stride. Shes not just a person i am compassionate about, shes also a great friend whos fun to be with.

Saturday, picked maria up and high-tailed it over to Tysons Corner Mall where she had a job interview with Lord and Taylor. She strutted up the stairs of the L&T building in her cute and demure pin-stripe garb that made me gagga just lookin at her ;-) I had to park like a mile away since all the spaces there were taken. I waited for her to finish in the Ralf Lauren/POLO section at L&T. It was pretty funny, me standing there in a gray t-shirt and khaki shorts looking through $350 suits and sports jackets. The lady workin in that dep. knew sure as shit i wasnt actually planning on buying a Ralfie coat and slacks. She was nice lady and seem to know that in was waiting for someone.
After about half an hour I spotted this beautiful woman coming towards me with exotic hair and dreamy brown eyes!! Oh man!
And the best part was that it was maria!! I felt a lil weak at the knees for a split second since i had turned and she was right there.
Ya ok i was grinning like an idiot :p
After she changed into some more comfortable clothes we toured the mall, she made me try some things on that werent exactly appealing to me at first (i.e. lime green shirt with pink logo) but i started gettin used to her tastes and even agreeing with her. I didnt feel tortured, too much lol.
But it was great mainly bc we found this one store with this khaki sports jacket, which ive wanted to get for a very long time, I was so glad marai was with me cause i would never have been able to buy one thats good since i have little experience in shopping. She was like a seasoned veteran - which she prob is anyway- and she picked out some very nice shirts that were tight and showed off my , uh, pecs.
The highlight of the day would have to be the fact that she got to meet my family. I dont think it couldve gone better, everyone loved meeting maria - even my dogs lol.
Dropped my darlin off at her friends house while wearin my new jacket and lookin very mature, distinguished, and diplomatic. (not to mention lookin like a sexy beast)
Then i spent the rest of the night sittin on my back deck smokkin Dutch Masters with my friends BS-ing till our nuts froze.
