Still, with not knowing what to expect, she had taken the time to make sure that she looked her best. Her long blonde hair had been brushed and curled, falling down her back in soft waves that bounced with each step she took. Her make up was expertly done and so were her nails. But the best piece of her outfit, next to her black high heels, was the red dress she wore. It only grew at her expression, the awe and surprise that were on her face. Part of him wanted to be sad something like this could surprise her, but the larger part of him was...pleased. Pleased he got to be the one to do it for her. Pleased she was the one he got to do it for.

Her features softened as she reached out to take the rose from him then, smiling a bit more. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too." She leaned over, rewarding him with a kiss before straightening again, looking around. "I had wondered what you were doing." While she had been out with Elijah.

"It's gorgeous." She murmured softly. "No one has ever given me anything like it."

"I love you too." She murmured, her eyes showing everything she was feeling as she looked at him.

"We should eat before dinner gets cold..." Not that he particularly cared about the dinner--it was sensory pleasure, nothing more, after all. But there was a form to the evening that didn't mean just ripping her clothes off of her like he would any other night.
