First an LJ-community, then a haiku...

Next, THE WORLD!!!

Yeah, so one of my girls (Stephanie) composed a haiku about me today. Sure, it's probably not the most flattering of poems (talking about my relative uh, let's call it "reluctance", to do room inspection), but hey--it's a poem. A haiku. A freaky little Third West haiku, but a poem nonetheless.

So strange. I was *just* joking about having poetry written about me. This very afternoon. Granted, I was thinking more along the lines of a love sonnet (which, I maintain, would still make me crack up more than anything else...), but hey, isn't all writing love? :)

So yeah, here it is:

Hey Christy
My room is so messy
When was the last time you checked it?

Yeah. That's some good stuff. Maybe it doesn't compare to Ovid, and his line about...what was it?..."gnashing boars" (???) (Ovid was one interesting character...), but hey. I love my girls. :)

I'm in a weird mood tonight. Can you tell? It *is* a full moon, if you place stock in that sort of thing. Or maybe I'm just excited for Oregon. Because I really, *really* am. Four more days!

Ooh, and I also found out I have beaucoup money in my programming account! On that note:

***Ladies of 3W (and Jordan...not because you're a lady, but because you're on 2B, our brother hall, and I'm on your friends list)***, any ideas on good stuff to do during finals, possibly as a brother/sister hall program? I'm not talking trips, really, and I'm not talking anything illegal, but any requests? Lemme know.

Right. I've babbled on enough for tonight, I think. I'm off.
