My suggestion would be to take Airport Blvd out instead of 183. You avoid alot of headache that way. Other than that I don't really have a whole lot of advice.

Oh the first 30 minutes of parking are free so if you time it right you can meet him in the airport, it's sometimes easier.

Take MLK (or Dean Keeton/Manor Rd) straight east to Airport Blvd, take a right (south) and follow the signs to the airport from there.

When Airport Blvd merges into 183, there's a place where 2 lanes of Airport blvd merge to one, something merges in on the right and then something merges in on the left, and all (formerly 4 lanes) of those cars go over a 2 lane bridge.

This will take twice as long as you think it will during rush-hour so leave more time than you think you need to get to the airport unless your friend is ok with waiting, then don't worry about it.

I don't actually have much choice in the matter. I'm in Paper-lab until 4:00, his flight gets in at 5:00. I'm going to bust my butt home on my bike, hop in the car, and drive as fast as traffic will let me. I'm just hoping he doesn't have to wait *too* long.
