Why do you hate me, UT?

Why, UT, why did you take back my monies? I needed my monies. You gave me those monies weeks ago. Months even. When I filled out your stupid forms, the government's stupid forms, all the stupid forms on earth told you I was poor. So why, just as the semester started and I had already worked out my budget and made my plans, do you revise my award? Why do you take away my grants?

While I'm sad about the extra $500 next year will cost me, it's this summer's $200 that I'm going to miss more. That was my gas money to get up to my summer internship. I really hope the Natchez folks pay me early in my time there, or I may not be able to afford gas home to see the 'rents. And of course, all of this happens the day after I go on a mini shopping spree with Preservationgal. I was only getting things I needed for the house, like curtains and brooms and bowls, but it was still rather expensive.

Maybe I can pick up an extra shift or two at the library.

Maybe I can survive for the month on the groceries I already have, and won't go out.

Maybe if I don't spend any more money this month (ANY) I can make it.

At least they didn't charge me late fees for not magically knowing I now had to pay that extra $200 in tuition. Who wants to bet the Financial Aid office doesn't work on Saturdays in the summer?
