Challenge #27: Daydream Believer

Though it had been no one's fault but her own, it had felt like this day would never come. She was nervous, of course. She would be worried if she wasn't. But, she assured herself, she could do this. She was ready.

Besides, it was also an exhilarating experience. She was finally here. She was finally, actually, doing it, what she had planned and worked so hard to achieve. There was no more waiting; it was her turn now.

She was jolted back to reality when the bell sounded and, moments later, teenagers began streaming through the doorway. She smoothed her skirt one last time before addressing the class. Soon, she forgot that she had been nervous in the first place.
