You know, two weeks ago, I was actually thinking, "We've got a 'clean slate,' 'return to normal business' situation going on here." But then we went to the aftermath of Cross's death/disappearance, and it seemed like the story was going to continue more or less apace after all.
It would appear that my first impression was the more accurate, after all.
Which makes it a bit tricky to make any calls on events at this point. Save that, ooooh, possessing ghost. Now that's something that Allen definitely does not want to be dealing with, what with the shadow of the Fourteenth hanging over him. And you also just know that the policeman's daughter is going to be involved somehow.
...still. What an utterly random case. Although... it does bear a certain resemblance to Miranda's case. Although this appears to be much more investigation-based. ...it's still random.
