today
Today was interesting..very interesting...one of the most interesting days ive had in a while so ill tell you about it, so go me!
It all started, as usual, with me waking up very late. However, since I am in exams I thought it would be really stupid to leave my house without previously eating something, and so I did, making me even be even later for my IB exams. Finally, I get on the car and turn it on, and guess what, I was almost out of gas...geesh, how bad could things get...ill tell you how bad: really bad!!
I go to the gas stationg and the man that does it for me looks really sleepy and hung over. So i say "Full with premium (type of gas), please", hes like "huh?, how much?"...that about 3 times. I finally scream it out and the guy does it, really slow and calm, me almost bursting into flames cuz i was so darn late! Then a pick up parks right next two me with these two big ugly cows flashing their behinds at me... ugh...so i finally pay the guy..it was 340 pesos in total (14 pesos in a buck, you do the math) and i pay him with a 500 pesos bill. He gives me 60 pesos in exchange. Now, I dont do calculus, but I know the change is wrong! After some 5 minutes arguing with him, I finally get the missing 100 pesos and move on, at top speed thru the highway.
So im finally getting to school and boom theres this big hole in the middle of the street with nothing but a wooden stick with a red frannel sticking out of it. My god im so lucky i didnt fall and die right there haha, oh and did i mention i almost ran over a damn bull yesterday on the damn highway!!!
I finally get to the exam, park anywhere i can and run my way to the school, where I find all my friends outside. What the?! I was late right?! wrong, all watches in my house and car are fast...i wish i wouldve known that earlier!!!GEESH
So then I take the exam, pretty smooth sailin, English essay about 7 pages long (like this post lol)...my dad comes pick me up and i leave the car at school so i can pick it up later. We go down town cuz my dad has to buy some stuff and he has the brilliant idea to WALK back to my car. Now all of you that have been to mexico can realize that the sidewalk is not the most regular...so we walked...for two hours and i saw the most beautiful sites of puebla ever. I love downtown..colonial, colorful, its a must for any tourist that wants some excercise.
Anyway, I go back to the car with my feet killing me cuz i had some uncomfortable shoes on, and drive to the restaurant where we were eating. It was really good, except today is mothers day here and it was just me and my dad (my mom is in spain right now...) so it was kind of awkward. Finally i get to go home, stopping by the supermarket and going back downtown to pick up the car we left there.
My god what a day, very interesting indeed...two hours of walking, arguing with gas dudes and almost killing myself on the road...wow!
