Buenos Bon Diddly Dias

Apologies for the spelling and blatant bastardisation of the lovely Spanish language there, but I'm in a chipper mood today! (I'm thinking it's mostly due to the copious amounts of caffeine that is currently coursing it's way around my blood stream but hey, I'll not complain) :)

I really can't tell you why I'm in such a good mood. I'm not being coy, I just don't have a clue! Let's look at the evidence;

The bad;

I'm rather behind on Uni work.

I'm going to have to pull an all nighter tonight to do the assignment due in tomorrow.

I've got two due in on the same day next week (though I have actually done half of one of them).

A massive part of my dissertation due in the week after which I am no where *near* ready to hand in.

In two weeks I'm away for a week on a residential course for uni and am desperately trying to sort all my work, work out and arrange my uni work/assignments so I'm not swamped when I get back (or more swamped than I am normally.

I've got 2 trips to London coming up over the next 2 weeks.

I've had a permanent headache with no likely hood of ceasing until at least November.

On the plus side;

My grades are good for the uni work I've handed in so far.

I've started kickboxing again and am really enjoying beating the stuffing out of the bags and pads two hours a week.

I've had a couple of good sunny days catching up with old friends who I miss and don't see half as much as I would like too - once for my friends son's Christening and once for a BBQ at ours.

I have a rather fabulous husband who loves me and is being extremely tolerant of my random stress fueled outburst.

I am incredibly amused* that one of our cats ran away overnight and all the next day in a big sulk after coming back from the vets, but came home when he was hungry and sulked under the table in the dining room till he felt sufficiently satisfied that we'd suffered enough and curled up by my feet whilst I was studying last night. :D

Oooo, we have a HD TV and the SKY HD package *rocks* (Rugby League in High Def...mmmmmmm)

I have become slightly obsessed with Ashes to Ashes thanks to the amazing ending to the last series and have been steadily working my way through the both the series in handy bit size chunks as a study break.

*points to icon* Makes me chuckle everytime I think of this bit! :D

(*I am amused now, looking back at it. We were both rather worried whilst he was gone!)

Swings and roundabouts I suppose. At least at the moment the good stuff is outweighing the bad! :D

You guys all doing ok?

catch up
