the wedding...

the wedding.....is.....over!!! and it went off without a glitch! There was literally no problems with anything. but that's how jamie and Ti are. They just float around and things just happen. I am literally exhausted from the wedding. It seemed like everything started on Thursday with family coming into town and last minute errands.

Friday was completely exhausting. I had an entire day planned of things that I needed to get done. Not for the wedding, but for me, because I am leaving, well, tmr. So, my cousin Natty was in town and I told her to give me a call if she wanted to go with me on my errands to get out and away from the kids. (she has two SUPER beautiful kids. little girl 3 and boy 1) So, we met the next day in the morning and got the news that the bride-to-be, Ti, was coming over quickly and she was going to get her nails done afterwards. Natty decided she wanted to get a pedicure and so I said that was fine, I'd go along and get a manicure only. I'm scared to death of getting an infection from a pedicure bath. You never really know if they are clean and getting an infection on your feet is just incredibly gross to me and I was adamantly opposed. So, with a manicure and pedicure and four hours later I appeared from within the nail salon. I totally gave in to temptation and got a pedicure. It's the best damn invention ever! To make a long story short I got nothing done that day and really nothing done that weekend. The weekend was packed full of stuff to be done from dawn until dusk.

On Saturday I went with my mom and my grandma to get all pretty at the hair place. My hair turned out just like I wanted so that was wonderful. Then what...umm...Then I went to the ceremony. It was beautiful. They all looked great. It was short and to the point. Of course everyone cried and before I knew it we were at the reception eating dinner. The day went by in a blink. All that planning and anticipation only for it to be over just like that. It's a strange strange feeling.

So, all went well and there was no big mess ups or screw ups. I am happy that it is finally over and now I can concentrate on my next big adventure.
