Monday began to feel a scrathiness at the back of the throat. By Monday night I was having serious post-and-frontal nasal drip. Barely slept Monday night.
Yesterday the congestion continued. General body ache. Some slight difficulty breathing. I drank loads of fluids and rested...spent most of the day horizontal. At 1235 the front door opened and in walked morathi and foxfirebitch...both had been sent home early. Apparently over 30 kids had been sent home from her school with the same thing. And half of the other's job had a similar thing.
Last night...blowing loads of mucous out...most at this point shot through with blood. Again, serious post-and-frontal nasal drip. Now with the added bonus of serious intermittant intestinal cramps. Tossed, turned, twitched, barely slept. Drove morathi in to work, came home, rested fitfully, but slightly better, for about 2 hours. Drove into work. The boss has the same thing. So he sends the PC tech home early...
...Wait for it...
...so he can come back later and at the very least let me leave early.
Which is something.
Doing my best to hold out. Some sips of cola are helping a little...but I feel like death warmed over.
Meh.
Hope y'all out there are doing a little better...but I hear from a bunch of people this is going around some bit...
