Phrases in Vietnamese I have also learned: a dog, a boy, a girl, a woman, a man, a ball, an elephant, a boy under an airplane, a boy in an airplane, a boy on an airplane, a boy on a table, a boy under a table, a cat in front of a car, a white car, a yellow car, a white airplane, etc. One day soon I'll be a vietnamese speaking, violin playing fool.
I'm glad its Thursday. I read Courtney's journal and I can't imaging being that busy. I don't know how she does it. I already think I have it bad- ha!
So I promised today that I would write things that I like about Las Vegas: (1) the food. Champagne brunch. Nothing like having a buzz on a Sunday with a 150 item buffet waiting for you. (2) the mountains. You can drive from snow to the lake in one day. I'm way too lazy for that though. (3) good shopping. (4) nickel slots. I know. I said that locals who gamble are sad. But I don't consider $20 in nickle slots once a month technically "gambling." But we do put $ on football, which I really miss around this time of year. Can you tell I don't like summer???
