Author’s Note:
unlearned, this is for you! My first fic about the Korean boy band and not knowing too much about the personalities of the guys, except for what was obvious and derived from the behavior of guys my age, I give you… an interesting depiction of the guys (sweatdrop). Dude, Linda, I didn’t realize that Yoochun lived in your hometown (did you know him?)! Anyway, this was written for sunfever’s request, thank you for your friendship! I hope that you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Summary: Since they had landed on the island a good six hours ago, Jaejoong and Yoochun quickly sprinted for the thick jungle, shouting a quick “see ya!” before the rest of the group could react.

“An hour left until we have to catch the plane home,” Jaejoong announced as he reloaded his pellet gun. “Have you seen any of them coming up yet?”
With that, he handed ammunition to Yoochun, who had to pull his knitted hat from over his eyes before accepting it. Before answering, he cracked a smile.
“No, but they’re probably chasing after Changmin.”
“Good point.”
Since they had landed on the island a good six hours ago, Jaejoong and Yoochun quickly sprinted for the thick jungle, shouting a quick “see ya!” before the rest of the group could react.
This turned out to be a wise move on their part since Yunho and Junsu, who had been putting their heads together on the plane, immediately turned their attention on Changmin. Cocking their guns, they turned approached the youngest member of the group, giggling as they aimed.
And from where they hid, Yoochun and Jaejoong saw Changmin fall backwards in surprise before quickly recovering and open fire. The scramble continued for approximately ten minutes before the targeted ran for the jungle, spraying pellets at his pursuers to cover his escape.
With that, Yoochun and Jaejoong looked at each other, both thinking the same thing.
“All right, we should go.”
For the next four hours, Yoochun and Jaejoong wandered aimlessly in the jungle, the itch of their gear and the heat produced by the thick clothes kicking in. Soon, Jaejoong slowed down, leaning against a tree as he caught his breath.
“Who’s idea was it to go to a remote island and shoot each other with pellet guns again?”
Yoochun, who realized a minute later that Jaejoong had stopped, turned and walked back, squatting by the tree next to his friend. “I don’t know, probably Junsu’s idea or something.”
Quietly laughing, Jaejoong took a sip from his canteen. “So we should shoot the crap out of him.”
“Send him running for his life!”
“And make him fall on his knees.”
“Beg for mercy.”
“And lick our boots.”
Silence ensued as they relished that thought. “You know, it would be interesting to see him do that…” Yoochun said, stroking his chin.
“Right.. and he’d probably enjoy it too!” Jaejoong said, trying to prevent himself from laughing too hard.
“You’re thinking about something perverted.” Yoochun shot Jaejoong a look before smiling. “All right, we better get going -”
Just then, Yunho popped out of the bushes with Junsu approximately eight feet away. “AHHhhhhh!” they yelled as they open fired on the pair. Though they each had their masks on, Jaejoong and Yoochun could see the fierce facial expression on their faces as they shot. Junsu’s hat was even pulled to the side to prevent it from blocking his vision.
Diving in opposite directions, Yoochun and Jaejoong aimed their assailants, returning the screams and laughter. At one point, Yoochun started to blindly shoot in their general direction, hoping to hit either Yunho or Junsu. At one point, they were so engrossed in shooting, they failed to notice Junsu, who had snuck through the bushes behind them.
“Surprise!” Junsu yelled as he jumped out, aiming specifically at Yoochun. That caused the targeted to yelp as he turned around and returned the fire. The exchange turned into a shower of pellets as they two started to randomly shoot, with Yunho joining in.
Just then, Changmin jumped out of the thicket and started to yell as well, chasing after Yunho and trying his best to hit him where it hurt the most. Seeing that his pursuer was seeing red, Yunho had no choice but to run for his life, occasionally turning around to shoot.
Taking advantage of the chaos, Jaejoong ducked low, scrambling for the trees. Running blindly in a zigzag pattern until he found himself sweating profusely and breathing hard. And that would have been fine except for one thing: he was lost.
Shit. He thought to himself as he turned around and he tried to retrace his steps, heading through each familiar looking clearing (at some point, he just treaded in a general direction). Almost tripping over a couple roots, he found himself holding himself up by a tree trunk before pressing on.
Half an hour left.
Looking around nervously, he tried to trace the path created by the plastic pellets, crouching low in case of the guys had decided to remain to execute another surprise attack. Just then, he thought that he had heard rustling in the brush, which caused him to quickly turn towards that direction, finger on the trigger.
“Whoa!” Yoochun yelled as he jumped up, gun in hand as he looked wide-eyed at Jaejoong.
So Jaejoong shot him until he fell over in laughter, crying surrender until the gunfire ceased.
“Yoochun?” Jaejoong said as the youth fell silent. “Are you all right?” When he received no answer, he walked to where he had last seen Yoochun. When he saw that his friend had fallen down on the ground, curled up and moaning, he quickly got to his knees.
“Yoochun!” he exclaimed, “I’m so sorry! I meant to do it to be funny!” He patted Yoochun on the shoulder and tried to get him to sit up. “Here, let me see…”
Having been in Dong Bong Shin Ki for so long, Jaejoong should have known better to be taken by what he had seen. And it was not until Yoochun became very still that he realized what was going on.
“You faker!” he cried as Yoochun grabbed his legs and knocked him over. “Yo-” Taking advantage of Jaejoon’s outburst, Yoochun grabbed Jaejoong and took him down. Wrapping his arm around Jaejoong’s head, he proceeded to try to subduehim, but found it difficult because the older youth was struggling. Soon the pair found themselves wrestling like two 8-year-olds in the living room.
“Hey, hey!” Yoochun cried as he finally pushed Jaejoong off of him. “I didn’t do anything!”
Still laughing, though more quietly to himself, Jaejoong sat up and took off his mask. “Right,” he said as he set the mask down, “and we didn’t-”
The pair froze as they heard the familiar sound of the plane, staring into the sky as the sound grew distant.
Until finally, Yoochun nudged Jaejoong.
“That can’t be good.”
“Well, at least it’ll be cooler at night, right?”
