Purrponies are no less 'pony-like' than Dragonponies or Phoenixponies or - God forbid - MerDragons (well, quite a bit less pony-like than MerDragons, if we're going to be keeping count!). Purrponies CLEARLY have pony hooves, a pony mane and tail, a pony snout (with slotted nostrils rather than a cat nose, mind you!), and a swayed/downward-curving horse's back as opposed to the upward-curving spine of a cat. Dragonponies don't even have a snout; they have a fucking beak. All of this about Purrponies being "too cat-like" is bullshit. People will seriously find ANYTHING to complain about! Complain about Lunar's art or how catponies are a weird, or just dislike them because everyone else likes them (which wouldn't be a surprising reason in the least)... just quit using this bullshit "they're not enough like ponies" whine.
I want to see all of these people complaining about the Purrponies looking too much like a cat DRAW A CAT-PONY HYBRID. I tried; it came out looking like SHIT. Cats and ponies are HARD to cross, and even harder still when there's another site whose cat-pony you're not allowed to rip off!
What the fuck did you EXPECT? Pony Island can't stay a 100% pony site for the rest of its life! Lunar can't keep just sticking a new pair of wings and horns on a pony every year, so you keep the base "pony" element and just add stuff on! You're perfectly fine with fucking TURTLE PONIES but you want to complain about cat ponies?
