“Commitment. Is that so hard?”
“Veronica, you know that’s the one thing I can’t give you. Isn’t loving you enough?”
“I thought it was until things changed. Lately it seems like even when you’re here with me your mind is someplace else. When I ask you what’s going on you walk away from me. Lincoln, I do love you. Loving you just isn’t enough. I want to share my life with you and how can I do that when you keep pushing me away?”
“So this is the end?”
“Is that what you want?”
