Author's Note: Happy Valentine's Day. The plot bunny decided that a Michael/Sara double drabble was just the right thing for the day. Origami roses and a ring.
Walking into the apartment Sara noticed an origami rose lying on the floor. Attached to the rose was a long stem with a piece of paper. Picking up the rose and turning to see the writing on the paper Sara said out loud, “M.” Wandering what was going on Sara noticed more roses leading to the dining room.
By the time Sara reached the dining room the mystery of the roses was known. “Me too,” Sara said with a smile on her face looking down at the roses clutched in her hand remembering that day not so long ago when things were crazy.
Casting her eyes on the table Sara couldn’t believe what she saw. Sitting in the middle of the table, on a piece of red silk, surrounded by more origami roses was a diamond ring. With tears in her eyes Sara finally noticed Michael leaning against the doorway.
Walking over to the table, picking up the ring, Michael went to Sara and gently removed the roses in her hand and slid the ring on her finger as he said, “I love you.”
Grabbing onto Michael and never wanting to let go Sara whispered into his ear, “Me too.”
