“Find your grace.”
Those three words kept repeating over and over in my head walking back to the car. Why didn’t he turn me in when he had the chance? Instead he had lied and given me money.
He had been so kind to me, a stranger. No one had every treated me like that before.
When he had been talking about his wife I could see the love in his eyes and the loneliness. When I find my love and we’re safe I’ll pay you back. I promise.
My grace will be found. You know that already, mi amigo.
