The old is suddenly restored as new...

So, a new space to fumble around and type in.. to let go of my current thoughts of the day. Today actually didn't require much thinking until evening came. I came back online to see most of you gone, though it is Thursday and all of you have lives and the fact that I really should be working.
I have a new idea, you see. This one people might actually like and feel more close to.
I know Ruby Red didn't go down quite as well as I expected when I told other people of the idea, but I'm going to keep her and try the story anyway in my own time. She is very much part of me, and some of her thoughts and opinions, if ever published or read will relatively be my own. Though her actions will probably not be in any way relative to my personality.

I still find it odd to go down this street at night and get a freezie from the local 24/7 store. I really still do expect, when I leave my doorstep to see Kent again, the green neon glow of the Sainsburys sign enticing me forward, offering me soft onion bahjis and all the freezie flavours possible, including the elusive grape/strawberry. I really do expect the feel of cobblestone under my feet as I walk through a park. The fact I don't poisons me a little. You shouldn't be homesick this long.

This place is for sketches too, if I can finally find time to scan some of them, and be bothered to go to Subiaco and buy watercolours and not opt for cheap pencils from Woolworths (disgusting and soggy mongrels, with jagged tips and never sharpen properly).

Apparently my parachute and red light in my room is upsetting my sister awfully. She's requested me to take it down(including the fairy lights)and remove the cellophane from my normal lights (lamps, wall and ceiling fittings).
I politely declined.
Listened to her rant at me whilst I was playing DOA 2.
30 minutes later, she gave up and retreated to her room, in which she slammed the door and a mass of glitter, sucked into the spinning vortex that was the slamming door, was pushed out suddenly and exploded into the hallway in a cloud of pinks, greens and cranapple, briskly and neatly making the hallway look like the hall to the dormrooms of santa's elves. I marvelled at this mess for a while.
Then decided, since I had grape soda in my room, I didn't have to come out til much later.
When I came out my sister had gone out, and thus I am happy and here.
I am tired.
Goodnight.
