"Morning," she mumbled as she came up behind the sofa and ruffled his hair before leaning down to kiss his cheek. She rounded the piece of furniture and dropped down next to Flynn. One leg was unceremoniously hooked over his as she closed her eyes. She was awake really...
She opened one eye to a slit and considered him groggily. "You're home. Explain."
Flynn scrunched his nose up before taking another sip of his tea. "He tried to walk. I was asleep and he tried to walk. Got barely two steps and fell." He growled softly in frustration and pushed his hair off his face. "The bastard."
Both eyes opened now and she stifled a yawn so it didn't look like she wasn't concerned. "Fuck. I guess we should be grateful it took him this long though. I mean, we were always worried he'd try and escape. I still can't believe he'd actually be that stupid. Doesn't he realise it could set him back?"
Flynn was silent at first and stared into his mug. "He needed air. I told him to wake me and he didn't. I needed a rest. I was tired. I just..." He waved his hand. "Maybe he just reached his limit of how much he can be taken care of. Maybe I've reached my limit."
Flynn shook his head. "No, not right now. You should've seen the state he was in just from trying to walk. And that's the thing! Chase said he had to work a little with Remy first to strengthen the muscles before the walking. Which makes sense."
"It does make sense. I guess he's just getting impatient." Madison looked at Flynn. "Face it baby, we're all going to have to be patient. And you know how much I hate that."
Flynn sighed. "He think he might've done it because I wasn't feeling well. Maybe didn't want to bother me. I don't know. I told him to, though, if he needed anything. Maybe it is all my fault."
