The hospital cafeteria was hardly a trendy coffee shop in Soho, but it would have to do. The coffee wasn't from a machine, so it was at least a step up from what Cameron had been living on since he arrived earlier that morning. He was trying to hold off going back to the hotel as long as he could so he could try to get on American time. Jetlag was a bitch and he had two flights to overcome; from Mexico to London, then London to New York. He hadn't even left Heathrow. He'd gone straight to the ticket counter and bought a return to the States as soon as he got Riley's voicemail about Pat taking a turn. He touched base with his parents who said they would get there on the weekend with Bill, Cameron and Pat's older brother, and then he was back on the plane two hours later.
Needless to say, the coffee with Harri was more than welcomed, as was her company. "It must be a relief for you to see Aiden looking less like he's about to crap himself. Pat will keep him right, and if not, he'll bitch slap him. You don't want to be on the other end of a Pat bitchslap."
