I had to call DMV the other day since my driver’s licenses is going to be expiring on my birthday this year and I thought I had thrown away the renewal form, yes I know stupid me. I was worried that they were going to make me come in and stand in line and then retake my picture, neither of which I wanted to do. I HATE going to DMV and waiting in line and even though I don’t like my current picture on my DL I am not ready to go take a new one. Luckily they said that all I needed to do was mail in a check even better was when I got home I found that I did not throw it away so I was able to renew online. That made my day.
Yesterday was my best friends 25th birthday and her family threw her a surprise party. Her husband did a wonderful job of keeping her in town and busy since they were suppose to be leaving for camping that morning. By the early afternoon she was going crazy and couldn’t understand why they weren’t on their way camping yet. She said that it was a good thing that she didn’t just get on the freeway and go instead of stopping at her parent’s house first since she was the one driving when they finally did get on the road. It was pretty funny here she was with her suburban all packed up for camping and ready to go and she wasn’t even leaving until the next day. Her parents did a really cute thing with her gifts too, since it was her 25th they bought her 25 different items. 24 of them were just some small things and the main one was a sowing machine. I told Matt that I want 25 different gifts for my 25th birthday lol. I just think that it was the cutest thing.
