So here is a little update on my life lately.
My husband made it back from Africa safely Thursday night. Yay, I met him at the airport around 11pm with his Carl’s Jr that he requested. I finally got to meet Tony (Peters), his Navy friend that is totally a bad influence on him, lol and the guy he talks about doing everything with one weekend a month.
Friday I took off work early at 3pm to spend sometime with Matt. Since he decided to take my digital camera with him to Africa and drop it down a 10 foot mountain L we did some window shopping for a new one Friday afternoon along with shopping for my best friend’s birthday. After that we met up with my parents for dinner at On the Border (yummy) and went to see Superman (I had been waiting for Matt to return to see it).
Saturday afternoon before we headed to dinner with my friends Matt and I did a little more window shopping for cameras and talked to the guys at Best Buy to see if my current camera could be repaired. We also went to the mall and made a stop at Kay’s. We talked to them about an enhancer for my current wedding set that has rubies in it. They didn’t have one but we are going to see about ordering an enhancer with out the stones and having rubies put in them. That evening we celebrated my best friend Catrina’s birthday with our friends Mary, Josh, Bill, Amanda, Brittany, and Natalie having dinner at Chevy’s on the river followed by mini golf and games at Scandia.
Sunday evening we headed down for Sunday dinner with my In-Laws after work. It was good to spend time with them, we hadn’t been down in over a month to visit them since Matt was in Africa and I keep myself busy with work while he was gone. We had a nice dinner, looked at pictures and heard stories from Matt’s Africa trip, and then played some poker.
