Crochet a Cookie!

Creme Filled Cookie Pattern:

Materials:
WW Yarn- cookie color (I used a pale yellow to look like vanilla oreo-style cookies)
- white (for the creme filling, or brown for chocolate, etc)
F Hook (or whatever size to make a fairly tight stitch)
Two circles of plastic or cardboard slightly smaller than finished cookie pieces (optional)
Tapestry or regular needle (if using regular needle, have thread the color of the filling)

Gage: not important

Cookie Piece (make 2)using Cookie color:
Round 1: sc 5 in magic loop (5)
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc (10)
Round 3: *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st* around (15)
Round 4: *sc in next 2 st, 2 sc in next st* around (20)
(if this is the desired diameter, sl st to close and weave in end. if not, *sc in next 3 st, 2 sc in next st* around for another increase.)

Filling using Creme color:
If your cookie is 15 st around, tightly chain 15 st
Leaving a long enough tail to add at least 5 more chains, cut yarn, but leave unfinished- that is, don't knot the end. You want to be able to add or take away chains if you need to.

Assembly:
Using tapestry needle and Filling Yarn, stitch the chain just inside of the edge of the first cookie piece. When you get to the end, you will be able to determine if you need more or less chain sts. Sew the second cookie piece half way, then insert the plastic circles and sew until you are 3/4 around. Stuff lightly. Sew the rest of the way around. Tada!
