good story
So Ben and I went to Taco Bell today and we're in line to order food. The guy in front of us had swastikas tattooed on both of his calves. I hate people like that and freak out because I can't believe that people are STILL so extreme. Then a black couple came in and I freaked out more... nothing happened but I cannot even imagine what that guy was thinking. Anyway, the reason I feel like this needs to be shared is because today I had to teach a lesson in my reading class using strategies we learned in class. Well, the lesson I did was a social studies lesson on hate crimes in America. How ironic, right? Well, I don't think I have ever seen anyone in person who actually had that kind of tattoo ever and maybe because that is because I am sheltered but I thought it was crazy!
