Why can't college start now???

So I meant to write this blog about New York, but that will have to wait.  I really cannot wait to go to college.  Why, you may ask?

My life is as boring as a fruitcake.  Actually, I think fruitcakes are more exciting.

Sunday was alright.  It was the Fest.  The group in attendance consisted of Steph and her sister (Meghan), the Conrad twins, Lyndsey and her sister, Pat Chounet and his sister (Lauren), Erin, my friend Kathy, and me and my sister (Krissy).

So it was a pretty fun day.  First we bumped into the Drdas (Ben and his sister..haha).  With them, Erin, Kathy, Steph and Sister, Pat, and I all went on a search to earn these Fest bracelets (which we later realized were free).  So we had to find all these vendors to get stickers.  About halfway through the search, we ended up ditching the Drdas and finding Krissy and Lauren (see above).

After that, I went to jam with Sanctus Real and Lyndsey.

So a Fest is not a Fest unless you travel in a group of four people.  This group happened to consist of Pat, Kathy, Pat’s sister (Lauren), and I.  We went off looking at some of the Fest souvenirs and ended up buying silly string.  We then got free t-shirts from this Catholic Financial Group.  Right when we were about to head back for food and to jam with Stephen Curtis Chapman (SCC), Pat declared that he had to have a prayer rock.  A prayer rock is basically a stone that you write a word on and then its magically holy or something.  The prayer rock tent was located at about the farthest possible location from where we needed to go for food.  So we were all angrily rushing to the prayer rocks.  I was like “Pat. You better make the fastest prayer rock you’ve ever made in your life.” And he started to feel bad since no one else wanted a rock.  So while Pat made his rock, I spun this wheel and won a cool “God Rocks” bracelet.  Pat was then jealous and wasted another good five minutes of our time attempting to win a braclet.  After failing, we started to rush back to get food.  About halfway back, Pat, who had been holding the rock in his hand, realized that his word he wrote on the rock smeared off onto his hand and the rock was plain again.  LOL-our response.  So we then bumped into Mo Walsh, who gratefully accepted the prayer rock as a gift.

We then shoved food down our throats and hurried up to the stage where Lyndsey was again jamming with the music and SCC.   It was so amazing!!! Probably one of my favorite parts of the Fest is the music.

After the music comes the amazing mass.  Which was good, except that some seniors (*COUGH* Rita Dann and Kristen Anderson *COUGH*) were on our blankets and I was like “Hey, why are you here?”  But the fireworks and music was so amazing it didn’t even matter that they were there.

Fun was had by all.

So back to my dull life.  The ONLY thing, and I repeat ONLY, that I have done in the last four days was to go out for ice cream on Monday (Shawn’s bday).  That’s it.  I’ve been staying up late, sleeping in, and either doing pointless activities around the house or facebook-ing it all day.  Which is why I need to get to college cause at least there I can do pointless activities with other people which should be more fun.

I need more fun like the FEST in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
