Further proof that Tim Burton is a freakin' genius
Steve and Kayla and I went to see "Corpse Bride" today. It was certainly something to look at, but I could tell that they put more into the visuals than the plot. It has a twist at the end, but you can see it coming a mile off. I still really think that this movie is one to see. It's got Tim Burton's trademark wackyness and a few catchy songs. Also, the dog is cute ^__^
I finally updated "The Legend of the Thousand Knights" today. Woo. Go me. No, really. Go me. My mom is going to Ohio for a week tomorrow to take care of my grandma. Her blood sugar is acting up again, so grandpa wants mom out there to help cook. Don't worry, the cooking thing is almost something to laugh about. Grandma could need mom under worse circumstances (trust me). Well, the updside of this is that I get the house to myself for several hourse a day. The downside, I just realised, is that mom won't be at the PTT/Curriculum night on Thursday to argue for the students-being-allowed-to-do-their-homework-during-class-if-they've-finished-their -other-work thing. -__- *GROAN* Well, mom did say that if things went well in Ohio, she might be back early.
