Movie Idiosyncrasies
I don't like it when people make fun of movies... any movies.
My roommates were watching Swan Princess when I got home last night (one of my favs.) and they were laughing about Odette loving Derek all of a sudden and the songs, and all the feminist stuff and everything and it really bothered me.
I mean why watch the movie if you are just going to mock it.
Mockery is a cop out anyway. It's for people who aren't sure if something is cool enough so they mock it to see what other people say.
Mockery is insecure.
If you like something that may not be "cool" why does it matter? Especially at this point in life? And if you don't like something then don't do it/watch it/ whatever.
So F you all, I like the Swan Princess, I like movies where people fall in love after one day. and you know what else I like Country music and Karaoke and God and reading and sausages.
