No sooner than we managed to get Papa back, we just happened to all find ourselves swept away to Rome on a whirlwind adventure. A beautiful place, yes, but there was was just so much excitement that week.

Altair and Sariel have helped me take control of the situation, and Shinju arrived early this morning. I do not expect that any of us will go down without a fight.

I’m leaving for the palace soon! The villagers haven’t shown any sign that they cared about my departure or potential return, but I wished them all well at any rate. I should miss them, I think. Even the children, who made fun of me.

Isa and Shinju came over yesterday! It was rather exciting. We discussed lovely sewing techniques and the like, and enjoyed tea and cakes. Apparently my cakes are excellent. I should like to pack some up and bring them for Mummy and Father to enjoy.

I’ve been sewing somewhat as of late. I was suddenly reminded, at the same time, that I was going to invite Shinju and Isa over! After all, Shinju did suggest that Isa and I would have quite a bit to discuss in regards to my recent hobby, if I do recall correctly.

I went to the mall today, with Shinju and Isa. I can certainly say that it was very large and somewhat overwhelming, especially in comparison to Prachatice. The only place I can honestly say it’s similar to is the marketplace outside the palace. Always bustling, and always loud.
