I'm starting to remember that most people suck and that it's never wise to give people the benefit of the doubt and attempt to open up to them because in the end you only end up getting hurt. I don't know why I even let it bother me. People will always reveal their true selves (both good and bad) when you least expect it. I guess you just constantly have to be on guard.
