WHOA. Looking at my pictures, I just felt this rush in my spine. I couldn't help but smile. All the memories, whoa. Thank God for all of them. I am so thankful to have friends, so thankful my family is together and beautiful, so thankful that I've met the people I've met and very happy that I've found someone I could love with everything I have.
Last summer + Europe was just AWESOME. Those were the best days of my life. But, goodness, I just realized that I've had loads of "best days of my life" moments. Just looking at my pictures-- the smiles on my friends' faces, the memorable backgrounds-- it makes me so glad to be alive. It's these moments that make life worth living. Now, here I am, facing the end of a totally action-packed summer! Grad party, the start of the Merbuds friendship; the best beach trip in Tali with the English Friends and Michelle's barkada; Gen San-Davao-Taipei trip with the family; ultimate soccer every Tuesday-Friday; Joni's birthday bash; Maggie's inuman; Chachi's Temple party with High School friends; the family trip to Batangas; Cabe's classy night at her place; Gabby's inuman; Merbuds going to EK and Tagaytay; Carlo's happy birthday. Every day is action packed, every day comes a different event (may it be walking around in Merville, bumming in someone's house, playing soccer just for fun, watching games in Belvedere or simply talking and laughing inside a car for two hours).
All in all, I am so thankful for this summer. It has brought me places I've never been to; it made me feel so happy to be alive, so happy to be young. And though my last few days of summer isn't that "outdoorsy", I look back and just realize how happy my life is and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I LOVE ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN A PART OF MY SUMMER. <3 And yet again, here's to Summer 2007. :)
