Scary, scary
I let my kids use scissors for the first time today. Scary stuff. Granted, they were kid scissors that aren't even sharp, but I still had this fear that somehow they were going to find a way to chop off one of my fingers. But thank God they didn't.

This is shaping up to be an awesome weekend. My friend Traci is coming in from Vegas. I haven't seen her in two years. Ida is graduating. And Aaron is coming in too. Hooray for everything.
But in sad news. I ruined my whole month. Ok, not really. But at dinner today I found out what I was getting for Christmas from my brother. Then about half a minute later, I figured out what I'm getting for my birthday. Boo to no surprises. But yay for my brother getting me presents...and for them being things that I wanted. I am so spoiled!
