Well my first day is over.... Tuesdays and Thursdays I have class from 11-2, so it wasnt bad, and although my classes are Phil, and Theo they arent too bad. "Business Ethics" actually seemed like its going to be a cool class. And the Jury is still out for "Good and Evil, Past and Present" although, our first assignment is a short response to the question, "Where was God during the Tsunamis?" I'm kinda stumped on what to say for that. I dont really want to give my real opinion because I havent felt out this professor yet and I don't want to give myself a black mark for the whole semester. This is one hard thing about taking mandatory theology classes because I go to a Jesuit university; sometimes the professors have unmoveable opinions, and you only get good grades if you agree. Ahhhh we'll see how that goes.
So this semester I actually have to buy books, which sucks. I hate buying books almost as much as I hate reading them. Today I spent $87 on two books. I got raped, but I couldn't buy them online because I already have assigments in them that are due on Thursday. Shit. Oh well, there goes all my overtime pay.
Besides that, today was okay. I mailed my daddy his new cell phone, so I am excited for when he gets it. I like doing nice things for my dad, I hope my mom doesnt take it away from him because she is jealous. She pisses me off sometimes. I am sure that she will think I am playing favorites by adding my dad to my calling plan, but my mom has no use for a cell phone, she would never use it and would end up losing it. Enough about that.
Last night was great, Ryan and I went to that theatre that serves you dinner while you watch a movie, and I must say, that if you ever want to do the whole dinner and a movie bit, it is so much cheaper to go to this place. Its really cozy, and they have also retro hightop tables with really really comfortable chairs. It was so much cheaper than it would have been to go to Mayfair Movies, and then go to dinner somewhere else. We saw the movie "Closer", it was interesting, twisted, but interesting. It was very explicitly based on 4 people's sex lives. But it had Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman in it, and they are 2 of my favorite actresses, so it was an overall enjoyable movie.
Okay I need to end this, its getting long, and I am hungry and in need of some food!!!
Later!
