Save vs. DEXCon

Jul 03, 2012 05:54

I am remiss in noting that I'll be a Guest of Honor at DexCon 15 in delightful Morristown, New Jersey this weekend (July 5-8). DexCon doesn't have a big panel tradition, so we're starting out slow with one seminar on schedule:

D1010: The State of the Gaming Industry: 2012. Join DEXCON's special guest, game designer Kenneth Hite, and other experienced gaming industry mavens as they talk about how things look in 2012, new trends in gaming, and how social media, Kickstarter and the Internet in general are affecting small publishers. This event will be a roundtable discussion. Friday, 9:00AM - 11:00AM.

But if you want to know anything about Lovecraft, alternate history, setting design, or anything else I talk about at other shows, please feel free to start me up any other time in the convention. Except, of course, during the $1000 Night's Black Agents Team Championship which I'll be running Saturday from 2:00PM to 8:00PM with the capable help of John Adamus. Actually, if anyone out there has GUMSHOE GMing experience and wants to help John and me out, we could actually probably use one more co-GM from 2 to 6 or so. I can promise you a book or something. Deathless gratitude, etc.

I know this is foolishly last-minute of me, but I do hope to see you all there!
