Rough stuff and crazy shit
This weekend has been a little rough. I had a moment last night when i realized some things I need to do to fix things up a bit. I need to go to the BMV and get a state ID, I need to get some checks ordered because i never did, I need to talk to Mr. Wood from Tucker. So he can hook me up with a letter of recommendation and possible a few employment options. I realized that things dont get done when sitting on your ass playing games. To get anywhere it takes work, most of the time hard work. I was up in spirits at that time and when I found out something else I was excited. So Nathan a night Pharmacist found out that there are benefits for being a Walgreens employee, things they dont ever tell you. We get discounts from 3 different car manufacturers (including the one from which my car comes from so tomorrow Im calling em to see if i can apply it :)), different hotels, and computer suppliers. The higher ups never tell you these things. So Jackson printed off a copy of the things for me hahahahaha.
I've missed Tasha so much this weekend, pretty much she worked all weekend and it was a bitch of a weekend for her. No one doing anything as usual and she had to work on that damn photo machine (hopefully the walgreens in Muncie have working machines that dont jam). Since its spring break for us i was hoping to spend a little more time with her but obligations and rest come first. I love you so much Tash.
Things with Logan are good I think, the only issue i need to still talk to him about is if he can get along with Tash agian. I dont see a reason not to.
Everyones doing something right now so Im bored as hell. Tasha is alseep (I dont blame her after the weekend she had and the school schedule) she needs her rest, Lyle is watching Tracey's dog while shes at school, Jessy was at work but now is hanging out with theater people, Logan is at work, Robert hasn't got back to me yet (its been about a month), Marks MIA at BSU, and James is in Arizona. Growing up rocks dont it lol. So far today, I've done some 3d modeling, played mario cart for about an hour, am downloading music for Tara, and had been drawing.
And now for the Ultimate Psycho Customer story.
(this was a couple months ago at staples) So this customer comes in and gets some stuff and as he was checking out he handed Robert R his credit card. Robert swipes it, and as all of us in retail know sometimes they dont scan so you have to punch them in manually. Needless to say it didnt scan, he then says in a low voices to himself, "it isnt scanning." The customer then says in an angry voice, "what do you mean its not scanning?" Robert says, "sometimes they dont scan so I'll have to just punch it in." Customer, "what, so my moneys no good here?" Robert, "no, no, is just not scanning, sometimes the bar on the back gets a little worn down." Customer, "let me talk to you manager!" So Robert get Derek (the GM) and Derek asks the problem so Robert explains. Customer, "So your the manager, here why dont you cut up my cards since there no good here." Derek, "Im not gonna cut up your cards, theres nothing wrong with them he just have to punch in the numbers" So Robert punches them in while this commotion is going on, so the guy gets his stuff and leaves.
Ultimate Psycho Customer part 2
The customer returns a couple weeks later, Robert again at the front register. Robert sees him as he entered and knew it would be another adventure. So this time the guys brings up his stuff and pays with a check. During the check process it prompts to see ID (sometimes at Staples the computer randomly asks to see ID, for the safty of the customer). Robert, "can I see your ID?" customer, "what do you need to see my ID for, I've written hundreds of checks here and they've never asked for it before." Robert, "It does this to everyone, its just a safety precaution for the customer." Customer, " look i've spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in this store and now all I have are problems." So he grabs his check and storms out. Derek Logs the event and informs the DM Jack (FYI Jacks a major asshole). Jack tells him to resolve the issue.
Ultimate Psycho Customer part 3
Derek call the guy and over the phone gets the items he wanted and takes his credit card over the phone (taking a credit card over the phone is strictly against Staples policy) but Derek is doing what he has to do to resolve the situation. So he then DRIVES this stuff to the guys house and unloads all of it for him. The guy then says, "why is it that I have so many problems with your store, last time I was in a manager cut up my credit card." Derek, "I was the manager that helped you and I didnt cut up your credit cards." Customer, "Pick up your shit and get it the fuck out of my house." So Derek loads up all the stuff and leaves. Derek tells Jack the situation. Jack again tells him to resolve it and apologize. Derek, "I have nothing to apologize for, I went out of my way to help him." So Jack writes up Derek.
Thats one crazy motherfucker.
