Fall Break
Fall break starts tomorrow,when my last class is done, and I'm doing the alternative break. This means that I'm going up to MIssissippi to help clean up for Hurricane Katrina, I mean I talked a good rap to people about getting involved and I feel it's my duty to to help them out no matter the circumstances,I know if I was in that situation I'd want all the help that I can get. I feel it's not enough for me to give money- I want to see what happened first hand and hopefully make a difference man. So if there are organizations at your respective schools that are doing Hurricane Katrina drives or more recently the earthquake in Pakistan, donate your time, money, or whatever you can to help those people out.
I'm actually gonna try to fast during that time too, since it is Ramadan. My mom's not too happy about it, but I think it's a hassle to try to make up fasting days up. But whatever, maybe I'll be able to make it. Oh and yeah, i'm still taking 17 credits, in spite of all this shit that's been going down, I'm pretty much on top of studies, but the shits about to hit the fan in a bout two weeks. I have a greek assignment, Exonerated rehearsals starting, two scripts to memorize that I perform during the run of The Exonerated, Math class to worry about, fasting everyday, and all the other crap that goes along with being a theatre major and college student. So excuse me if i seem a bit on edge. Anyways I'm tired and I still have work to do.
