Prince George's Co. State Legislators meeting on schools, public defender, and more

The Prince George’s County House Delegation will meet tomorrow at 10 a.m. to hear a presentation and consider at least one bill. The meeting will be in Room 150 in the House office building in Annapolis.

A panel from the Office of the Public Defender will make a short presentation on legislation involving pre-trial defense services.

In addition, the delegation is scheduled to consider:

• PG 409-14 - Board of Education - Public High Schools - Outdoor Synthetic Turf Fields (HB 1013) (Special Ordered by the delegation on Feb 21). - this bill has health, safety and environmental concerns.

(NOTE: The County Affairs subcommittee is scheduled to meet tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. Any bills voted upon by the subcommittee at that time may be added to the full delegation agenda.)
