Yesterday while the rest of conlan stood guard and the witches that we know casted spells to keep ithe battlefield fair, Connor fought a powers that be and was triumphant. I am not certain if the ablility to take out Gods and powers that be is a good one. When they go corrupt and are harmful I understand the need, but should they not be impervious to corruption. Is not being a God or a Power mean that you have some greater power than the rest of us. The fact that the one of the Powers had succumbed to the temptation of corruption, in a way disillusions a person to how devine a higher power is after all.

I guess it is irrelevant since both the corrupt power and the God Pan are gone from this wold. The champions were successful in defeating them and now we can go back to our normal routine, which are visions, patrolling, keeping the world safe from evil. I am told that this is normal, but I have a feeling that that word is subjective. I myself will go back to studying when I am not working or patrolling or spending time with Gia. Normal is a good thing.

Speaking of Gia, her and I spent our first Valentines Day together last Monday. I was not aware of this custom until Destiny had pointed it out to me, and helped me decide on what Gia may like for a gift. I choose red roses, which are a good gift anytime, and dark chocolates, which Des informed me were Gia's favorite. We spent the day together, she took me to a medieval fest. There was jousting and people pretending to be from my time. However, there were many inaccuracies with their portrayal, I felt it was my duty to inform Gia the differences that occured. She seemed amused with this, my only hope is that I did not bore her with my details. I did honestly have a fun, it was very reminescent of home.

She also took me to this place called DisneLand, which had a castle. It was actually a fairly good replica of Sleeping Beauty's. There were these vehicle called rides. Some were frightening, like the 'It's A Small World' however some were rather fun. I myself enjoyed the 'Pirates of the Carribean' though Gia was telling me that when Dylan took Connor there there was an actual water demon he had to slay during the ride. I saw no evidence that any had returned. I was mildly dissapointed. I however in total had an excellent day with her, and truly she is all I need to have an enjoyable time.

There have been many changes at work. New people have been hired. Rhia has another cousin, Carly who I believe is in strong admiration of Preach, however I would not say that outloud. She seems every bit a relative of Rhias. In the kindest way possible. I admire that she speaks her mind. She fits in very well with the rest of this group. There is also another new girl, though I have not actually talked to her. I believe her name is Abigail and that she is related to someone else who works in the bar. Work though has been uneventful. No out of hand amorous people to throw out, though now that we are not under the influence of Pan, the violence has gone up a bit. However we keep a tight reign on the club patron.

I am concerned about Matt of late though. He seems very preoccupied. I am not sure if it because he is taken Brookes death hard. Or if there is another reason. I tried calling to see if he wanted to hang out and have a pizza with us though I was unable to reach him. Perhaps he has taken more interest in social activities or his age group these day. I am not certain. I shall keep trying to reach him until I know for certain everything is okay.
